About Treasuring Christ Church 

Treasuring Christ Church began in March 2014 after Pastor Boyd and his family moved from Los Angeles to plant the church in Athens. The church plant began by hosting interest gatherings and a weekly Bible study on Sundays. Over time, a group of believers came together in preparation to launch public services.

On March 1, 2015, TCC launched Sunday morning services on the campus of UGA. Since then the Lord has provided our church with a number of spaces for Sunday morning and weekday worship.

Currently, we hold our Sunday services in Watkinsville.

TCC's Sunday services feature expository preaching and a blended worship service of both hymns and contemporary worship songs.

TCC is part of The Master’s Fellowship and the Greater Atlanta Baptist Network.

Grace Advance

Treasuring Christ Church was planted with the assistance of Grace Advance, a ministry of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, led by John MacArthur.

Grace Advance exists to serve and provide leadership for developing churches by preparing men to become pastors of a new wave of churches that the Lord is raising up around the world. To learn more about Grace Advance, watch the video below.
